Israel has created a protection against the face recognition system
Startup D-ID from Tel Aviv created an algorithm that can protect against the face recognition system. Israeli development can thus change some features in the pictures that relate processed photos with other images and a real person, which is depicted on them, we do not get recognition.
Modern Google's face recognition algorithms, Baidu, Facebook and other technology companies are able to search for individual images, sort them and search for photos on a particular person. Israeli startup has created an algorithm that can successfully resist this. According to the developers, the system operates with an efficiency that is as high as 90 percent.
The founders of the company decided to develop a similar application about a decade ago. Then the two of them got to leave the army and go to South America. After a trip to the military authorities banned tourists to publish photos, referring to the modern individual and spyware detection technologies. Then the friends decided to create a defense against it, and a year ago created the company, which was engaged in the development.
"More and more organizations are using the system identification, so to maintain privacy is becoming increasingly difficult. That's why we created our system, because a person's appearance - this is not the password that you can quickly change, "- says CEO of D-ID Gil Perry.
Photos, the algorithm of D-ID, virtually indistinguishable from the original, but if you compare them with the originals without treatment, the difference can be seen.
