Tests of the world's largest aircraft hit on video

One of Stratolaunch project managers Paul Allen posted to Twitter aircraft prototype test video Stratolaunch, during which he made a few races on the runway. According to preliminary calculations, the machine can lift into the air up to 250 tons of cargo (despite the fact that the aircraft itself weighs 230 tonnes). It is expected that the first test flight will take place in 2019.

Stratolaunch plan to use air as a platform to launch rockets to deliver cargo to low-Earth orbit. If a plane takes off successfully, it will be the largest aircraft in the air: the scope of aircraft wings is 117 meters.
