The manufacturer made new series of tests, which proved that the new product will be much faster and more reliable than previously thought.

Initially, it was thought that the motorcycle on a single charge can travel about 177 kilometers. A new estimate of the range of driving on SAE J2982 test showed that the figure will be more impressive and will make as much as 225 kilometers. In addition, the company unveiled a mixed range rating for the drive on the highway and the city - 142 kilometers.

Potential buyers are also interested in how fast the motorcycle will replenish the battery charge. New supports third-level charge which provides for replenishment of energy is the minimum time thanks to the increased power. Thus, to charge the battery up to 80% can be 40 minutes, and to 100% - for one hour. The previous information is also said that a motorcycle can accelerate to 100 km / h in 3 seconds. In fact, it was much better - the acceleration time is only 1, 9 seconds. With all of this the company has not disclosed any information about the power of the engine or of torque. Most likely, all of this will be known closer to the fall.

Harley-Davidson LiveWire will cost about 30 000 dollars. At that price, companies need to think seriously about the exclusive features of the new products, as competitors are already offering similar bikes at more attractive prices. For example, electric motorcycle Zero also charged to 100% in one hour and is accelerated to 200 km / h. In this case, it is worth no more than $ 20 000.
