Elon Musk: Satellite Internet Starlink earn in a year

The company SpaceX to launch into orbit 12 000 satellites to create a universal Internet Starlink. The first batch of 60 units planned to send last week, but the company postponed twice mission - first because of the bad weather, and then due to a bug in the software. Despite the bad start of the mission, Elon Musk convinced that satellite internet has earned in 2020, and for the beginning of the company is not required to run the whole dozen satellites.

According to Elon Musk, satellite internet Starlink can provide communication moving vehicles such as aircraft and ships, even with 1000 satellites. He acknowledged that, given the recent problems with the launch of it's also quite a large number, but it is the number of satellites the company intends to launch in the next 12 months.

The company plans to send into orbit thousands of satellites until 2027. At the moment, the world revolves around 2000 satellites from various space agencies, but with the pace SpaceX can become a company that virtually captivated orbit their devices.

I think after 1, 5-2 years, if all goes well, SpaceX will be more satellites in orbit than all other organizations combined. In fact, most of the satellites in orbit will be companions of SpaceX, - announced Elon Musk.

It is assumed that the satellite Internet Starlink can provide bandwidth of 1 terabit. According to Business Insider, it will be enough for a relaxing view 4K video with thousands of people simultaneously.
