Roskosmos will use robots with artificial intelligence for the exploration of the Moon

Russian space corporation "Roscosmos" is going to be used for lunar exploration robot endowed with artificial intelligence. It is noted that the robotic system will be used as much as possible during the study and development of the satellite of our planet. This will significantly reduce the "possible risks to human health and the cost of the whole program", according to the state-owned corporation.

"Participation in this program of human harmony with unmanned spacecraft and robots with artificial intelligence", - said in a statement.

Earlier, the head of "Roskosmos" Dmitry Rogozin, reported that Russian cosmonauts will fly to the moon in the years 2029-2030. The first manned landing on Earth's satellite will last 14 days. For delivering astronauts to the moon it is planned to use the currently developed new spacecraft "Federation".

How Russia will conquer the moon?

, adopted in November 2018 up to 2040 the plan of the Russian lunar program involves research, development and use of the Earth's natural satellite. Program are going to spend in three stages:

• In the first phase it is planned to send to the moon automatic (robotic) devices, which will study the satellite. As previously reported, it is possible, the pilot of one of the spacecraft will be the Russian robot FEDOR. Under the same stage on the lunar orbit lunar module base stations will be set up;
• The second phase will begin after 2030. Within this framework it is planned: to carry out short-term manned missions to the Moon; check out the robot in space transportation systems, life support systems, robotics; choose a place to build a base on the moon's surface, and lay the first elements of it. Set the astronauts already begun

In June this year, "Roskosmos announced the opening of a set of astronauts who will be prepared for missions to the moon. Filter will be people not older than 35 years with higher education in engineering, science or lotnym specialties with expertise.
