The bus filled with people collided with a passenger train in Ottawa. Witnesses reported that the car literally torn to pieces.
According to preliminary data, killed six bus passengers, 30 more injured, ten are in serious condition.
The collision occurred when the bus was moving north on the highway and the train was heading to Toronto. The driver, according to witnesses, ignored the lowered barrier and continued to move until it crashed into a locomotive. From the bounce several carriages derailed. Train passengers can hardly believe that none of them was hurt.
- I was at the end of the train and the little that felt. All I heard - the sound of the impact, and then I saw the smoke and realized that we ran off the rails, - he told Life News witness Rob Genkrelli. - I thought we got upset.
