The interior of the villa in the south of France

Villa area of 330 square meters in Lège-Cap-Ferret, France, designed by the architects Atelier du Pont, is designed for people connected by family ties, but willing at the same time retain a certain measure of independence.

Therefore, the house resembles several separate cottages, united by a common terrace. Numerous openings emphasize its connection with nature.

One of the architects of the goals was to save as many existing trees as possible. In the design of the facade it was mainly used wood, echoing the growing around the pines. The building exists in perfect harmony with nature, dissolving in the surrounding landscape. One of the distinctive features of the interior was a large internal staircase curved shape, which is a counterpoint to the triangular windows and other diagonal lines that create unusual interior space.
