• Giant cave in China, which placed the whole village for 100 people
Chzhundun village in mountainous Guizhou province of China is considered to be the country's only permanent settlement in a natural cave. To get to this settlement, situated at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, it is possible only by foot. The ascent takes an hour, and because of the inaccessibility of the locals come easy.

The cave is located high in the mountains, and here can only be reached on foot.

It is home to about 100 people.

The residents raise livestock as a half-hour walk through the mountains to the nearest market.

To make matters worse, the government said that "China is - this is not the cave people," and closed the village school at the beginning of 2011. Now the kids have to go on foot two o'clock every morning to a different school.

In order to improve the living conditions in the village, the elders tried to persuade the local board to build a road and connect the settlement with the existing infrastructure. Although the village has Chzhundun TV and sometimes - the newspapers, on the whole it is cut off from the rest of the world.
The village even has its own basketball court.
